I often turn to Pinterest for inspiration when I have an abundance of one type of material. Our computer lab tech found a stash of CDs from the days when students saved work to take home on these mirrored discs. There are several variations of this project, but my favorite design is from The Seattle Times Lifestyle section. You need a CD, a marble, a bottle cap, a glue gun, and markers and beads for style. (I loved the impromptu discussions about balance from the beaded designs.)
