This was the final makerspace project before the Covid19 school shutdown.
Make has a great project for kids ready to try their own paper circuits. This origami jumping frog isn't the only pattern out there, so look around for an easier folding. This one from Origami-fun has a printable PDF. Then just have LED bulbs, coin batteries, and copper or aluminum tape. I had students fold the frog first and then unfold it and draw a positive and negative path from the battery to the eyes. We had to solve for some short circuits.
