Paper drum ornaments

This photo doesn't do the project justice. We took our inspiration from 1950's paper drum ornaments. Then we sliced industrial cardboard tubes into 2 inch pieces. A plastic hair band holds on a small square of shrink wrap from Michael's. Using a hairdryer, a student can then shrink the gold and trim the edges to fit. This student hot-glued blue and green ribbon onto the side before decorating the snare with beads and fishing line.
