A stash of nursery rhyme textbooks became colorful pages for wreaths. Students had three patterns to choose from. I just did a quick Pinterest search and printed inspirational images. We used orphan plastic lids as the base and LOTS of hot glue. TIP: a paperclip inserted into the plastic lid makes a great hanger.
