Unused library books are great material for many projects. I pulled inspiring photos from Pinterest, but I purposefully left off any instructions. I wanted students to experiment with 3-dimensional thinking by creating their own patterns. Supplies leftover from the year rounded out our embellishments. Covers may be left on or cut off for effect. Wrapping or scrapbook paper can cover the inside covers for added decoration. Some students took books home to do another, so I recommend a large box of them.
