There are several videos online, and I have seen this weaving demonstrated on TV as well. The best place for instructions and a printable template is First Palette. Pinterest had several websites and photos of baskets made of felt. We used scrapbook paper. The two hearts pictured use three and one cut, respectively. One person cut each of the legs in half and tried to complete one with eight legs on each side. Throughout the weaving, I tell students they should be able to open the top and see all the way to the bottom. If part of the heart won't open, he or she will have to undo a portion of the weave.
