Manipulating paper is great for newbies to making. Ledger paper cut lengthwise is the perfect size for these cards. The project I thought had the most potential for individual embellishments came from Youtube. I drew the measurements on a planning board in our makerspace. Then I showed students a sample with the first two cuts. The students above chose to stop there and embellish with the die-cut shapes provided. Sharpie markers and glue sticks are a must. Most importantly, students need to use a ruler to help fold the shape out to avoid tears and uneven lines. Inspirational project to try next.
