Our elementary school has a vintage Mr. Button maker. They share regularly with PTA and anyone willing to buy supplies for a project. I like it because it is a manual machine, and students were able to recycle interesting magazine and catalog pictures. These are buttons students made for a librarians' meeting. UPDATE: Since starting the makerspace, I have had PTA and a math teacher donate unused button makers and bags of parts. One piece on the machine broke, but our high school engineering class is using a 3D printer to make a new part!
