The instructions for the Jitterbug came from the Exploratorium. Instructables has similar projects, but I liked the step-by-step illustrations on this PDF. The mini jumper leads are harder to find than I had thought. I finally located ones from RadioShack online with alligator clips. Electric motors are available at several hobby sites, but again I got luck with some cast-offs from our Industrial Technology teacher. The ones we used are 6V and were almost too powerful. Note: In the bottom right corner of this picture is one of a 3 piece set of small pliers. Think about your patrons' hand sizes when selecting tools for your space. Here's a video we made with Green Screen and an ipad.
